Carmel

Carmel serves as Vancouver Outreach Coordinator, primarily focusing on facilitating volunteer involvement in BC’s Lower Mainland. She currently trains and mentors volunteers, guiding their development as advocates for pre-born children and coordinating frequent local activism projects.

Carmel grew up in a pro-life family, but only became aware of the urgency of the issue when she realized that most of her peers in high school supported abortion by default. As she learned more about abortion in Canada, she was convicted to get involved and soon began volunteering for CCBR. For the first time, she saw people changing their minds on abortion.

Impressed by CCBR’s strategy, she participated in Calgary internships during the summers of 2022 and 2023. She began working in Vancouver in June 2024.
