Mitchel’s role at CCBR is the Calgary Internship Coordinator. This involves the recruitment and onboarding of intern applicants, helping prepare for the internship, and then leading and mentoring the interns throughout the internship. He also helps ensure that the vans stay operational and regularly joins street outreach.

Although he grew up pro-life he was only loosely involved in the movement. He was part of his school’s ARPA club which occasionally held events. Mitchel first got involved with CCBR when he did the 2024 4-month internship in Calgary. It wasn’t until that summer that he fully understood how big of a problem abortion is. He learned that many people were affected by or apathetic towards abortion, and how to have effective conversations about abortion. He saw that he could make a difference by changing people’s minds on abortion. After working for a summer to help make abortion unthinkable Mitchel felt that God was leading him to work for CCBR full time, and he has been with CCBR in a full-time capacity since January of 2025.
